The book offers plenty of examples and practice to help learn how to work the problems. What I like best is that there is an app that shows the steps to each odd numbered practice problem so you can see exactly what steps to take.
Bought for a high school honors Algebra 2 class
The book itself is great. The explanations are mostly clear, and the problems definitely make everything even clearer. Great procedural and application problems.
Clear thorough explanations, Many examples. Easy to follow, answer key in the back to check your work (odd number problems). Obviously, 1 star docked because the even numbers were not given in the answer key.

My daughter is a high school junior and used this book for a college precalc I course she took and found it to be a great book. She had no problems understanding it and felt it was well written. She will also use it for the precalc II course which makes it a great value at $114, considering the college bookstore wanted 3 times that for the same book! I would have rented the book because we had good results doing that for my sons classes, but it was cheaper to buy than rent it twice.
Arrived in a timely manner. Exceptional condition - like new. Comprehensive "Prerequisites" section for those not having recently studied algebra. Excellent as a reference or for home schooling. Definitely recommend this book. Chapter Eight is does an excellent of introducing sequences, infinite series, and probability. Also must complement the sellers for an excellent product at a mind-shattering reasonable price.
